Open Minecraft: Java Edition, version 26.1.2. Other versions will be refused at the login screen.
Click Multiplayer → Add Server.
Put mc.chocokale.cc in Server Address. Leave the name as whatever you like, then Done.
Select the server and hit Join Server.
First time only — you'll be frozen and asked to register. Type in chat:
/register yourpassword yourpassword
Type it twice, exactly the same. Pick something you don't use anywhere else — it protects your account and your builds.
Every time after, log in with:
/login yourpassword
Until you do, you can't move, chat, or break anything.
Why the password? The server is in offline mode, so anyone can connect claiming any username. Registering locks your name to you — without it, someone could join as you.
Joining over Tailscale — optional, lower ping
Normal joining goes through a relay in Frankfurt. Tailscale connects you straight to the server instead, which cuts the delay a lot if you're far from Europe. It's free, but you need an account and the owner has to share the machine with you.
Ask for a Tailscale share link — the owner sends it from their admin page. You can't join without one.
Install Tailscale from tailscale.com/download (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS).
Open the share link, sign in with any account (Google, GitHub, Microsoft, email), and accept the shared machine.
Make sure Tailscale is connected — the tray or menu-bar icon should say connected.
In Minecraft, Add Server again, this time with the address:
100.97.215.122
Join, then /login exactly as normal — same account, same password, same worlds.
Keep both entries in your server list. If Tailscale is off, use mc.chocokale.cc; if it's on, the direct address is faster. Both lead to the same server and the same builds.
